Foresight has been awarded ‘Beacon’ status as the leader for this years Community Beacon project involving 9 other UK Online centres across the country.
Foresight will share their tips and experiences with other centres and help develop a national strategy for community and social media.
Over the course of the next 12 months service users will have the opportunity to participate in online Webinars and a short film about community media.
Soon to be added to the Foresight webpage will be a community Beacons micro-site which will display the Beacons progress and also forums where other UK online centres can ask the Beacons questions surrounding community media.
